But graphic accelerators providing hardware accelerated yuv buffer display with rgb conversion and scaling in hard also use a special color to make the ``digital'' overlay. (try the magnifying loop on any dvd player under windoze). That may also be the case for cards using the ``feature connector'' (analog input on vga card).
