Hauppauge PVR USB driver for linux-2.6?

Does anyone know of the existence of a version of the
Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB driver available at

  http://pvrusb.sourceforge.net/

which has been adapted to the linux-2.6 kernel API? The current
version only works with 2.4.x series and I haven't been able to
contact the author.
