Title: Linux Suse Video Capturing using DC10plus

Hello, as a newbe on Linux, I try to get a Pinnacle/Miro DC10+ running on Suse Linux 8.2 (Kernel 2.4.20-4GB)

The latest Zoran driver from Suse is an RPM containing the Zoran 0.8.277 The rpm executes without problem, but applications don't seem to be happy, such as from xawtv:

ioctl: VIDIOCSCHAN(channel=0;name="Composite";tuners=0;flags=0x0 [];type=CAMERA;norm=2): Invalid argument
ioctl: VIDIOCSCHAN(channel=0;name="Composite";tuners=0;flags=0x0 [];type=CAMERA;norm=3): Invalid argument
v4l: timeout (got SIGALRM), hardware/driver problems?
ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(int=0): Interrupted system call
ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(frame=0;height=24;width=48;format=15): Invalid argument
Note that video input is not connected yet.

Before spending too much energy on further testing, I am wondering if we better switch to the newest Zoran driver release ?

Making Unified Zoran (zr360x7) driver for 2.4.20-4GB kernel...
/bin/sh: line 1: cd: /lib/modules/2.4.20-4GB/build: No such file or directory

Does this means that we have to build a (new) kernel ?
Can we find clear instructions how to do this ?

Thank you.
