Sorry Gerd, I was tired when writing the message, and forgot to query
the correct device... :) Here is the correct hw info:

[florin@localhost buildgtk]$ v4l-conf -c /dev/v4l/video1
v4l-conf: using X11 display :0
dga: version 2.0
mode: 1024x768, depth=16, bpp=16, bpl=2048, base=0xe0000000
/dev/v4l/video1 [v4l2]: ioctl VIDIOC_QUERYCAP: Invalid argument
/dev/v4l/video1 [v4l]: configuration done
[florin@localhost buildgtk]$ xawtv -hwscan
This is xawtv-3.88, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.21-0.13mdkcustom)
looking for available devices
port 42-42
    type : Xvideo, image scaler
    name : NV Video Overlay

/dev/v4l/video0: OK [ -device /dev/v4l/video0 ]
    type : v4l
    name : Logitech USB Camera
    flags: capture

/dev/v4l/video1: OK [ -device /dev/v4l/video1 ]
    type : v4l
    name : BT878(Eagle Wireless Capricor)
    flags: overlay capture tuner

Now I set the "card=51" option (this was the option in the old kernel,
when Jetway 878FBK was not in the Cardlist... But "card=78" doesn't work
either, I still can only watch TV, not recording...

Would the problem be a mismatch with the kernel I use?! so it seems to
me...
 Thanks
Florin
