Hi Anthony,

with the saa7134-20030828 I have the same than you and with 20030826 an
error on saa6752hs, looks like the compiler needs an upgrade. 2.6-test4
runs here at the moment with the 20030822 snapshot and the minion.de
patch for nvidia-4496 and the new agpgart. My kdeinit problem has gone
(was also no problem on RH-8 and my SiS-746fx) and so I'm very
comfortable now on RH-9.
What remains is the freeze, when I manually unload the saa7134. This
shows now up also for my ov511, which is back too (oops on usb unplug
and modprobe -r so I have to think about hotplug and i2c here).
If that may happen to you too (hopefully not), it is unusable to test on
tuners and audio on a unknown card. My hope was, that 2.4.22 works and
compiles with the latest snapshot, but seems not. I don't know, what to
recommend at the moment.

Greetings

Hermann
