Re: Linux Compatible Webcams??

Ram,
Webcams under Linux are supported through an API called Video4Linux, or v4l. That is, of course, the very subject of this email list. The v4l homepage (http://www.exploits.org/v4l/) is an excellent place to go to find out which webcams are supported, and to acquire and install the necessary drivers. If you already have a webcam, chances are you'll be able to find support for it at that website. Have fun, read a lot, and good luck!

Dear Sir,

I have been trying to look for the linux drivers which support webcams under the RedHat platform. Please let me know if there are any.

Thank you.
Ram
