Hi,
I had compiled fftv successfully. But the video streams are not clear, overlapped with lines, no colour and filled with grains and grains and lines even crosses window boundary. It seems it works under overlapped mode. The same is the case with "XAWTV" in linux kernel version 2.4.18-14 and 2.4.20-8. That is the video streams are clear in "grab display" capture mode only. I don't know the reason. And that too I want work out XAWTV in Linux Console. So i am using "fbtv". Will
fftv work in Linux console ?

Hi,

we have to convert it into "mpeg". What I want is to record video
streams directly into "mpeg". So I used FFMPEG to record video

What about using fftv (ffmpeg-based)? You will have "mpeg1(or 4)
recording, and watching TV in same time, and GUI, and some more
options - like recording by schedule.
