I am using XLib to display my grabbed frames but it can display 6 ou 7fps !!Do you know how to improve my display ?


Sure. You have to use:

1) X Shared Memory extension, or

2) XVideo extension - better way. It will provide hardware support forcolor spaces transformation and scaling.

For details, just see the latest mpeg2dec sources,/libvo/video_out.x11.c it's the SIMPLEST which available on market :-)
