following 2 lines in "/etc/rc.local" and restart the system.

sbin/modprobe tuner type=5 debug=1
sbin/modprobe bttv card=37 audiomux=0.

(audiomux=0 - For Audio Output from tuner to sound card)

The above 2 lines is for my case where I am in India and using
PixelView PlayTV Pro Tv Tuner card.

find

out what tuner to use? Also, it looks like I need to choose the

standard

as well as the tuner for a number of them. Is this what I need to do

to

get the card to work with PAL-I?
