External Sync

Hi,

I guess this question is best directed at Gerd or Alan...

I am still working on the fast switching between 4 inputs on the BT878 to share the frame rate between 4 cameras, as best as possible. Basically, it seems that as you switch inputs, the 878 takes about 200ms to "lock on" to the new signal, and correctly identify the vertical sync. What I want to do, is use 4 LM1881 sync separators, and use their outputs ODD/EVEN and VSYNC. I will, of course, need to modify the driver to use 4 GPIO pins as the 4 vertical sync signals. Do you think this is possible? Is there anywhere in the driver where I can look for the vertical syncing? Any ideas??

Thanks,

Miles
