new WinTV/Hauppage conexant - nogo bttv

I tried to get one of these newer WinTV PCI cards working
under Redhat 8.0 with a 2.4.20 kernel.

lspci lists this as unknown device (8800).

I put an old BT848 card in the system and it worked 
right off.

Any clues how to get this card working?
