I have a FlyVIDEO2000 (NTSC), which is a saa7130 based card. I get a
picture, and it's beautiful! However, the audio is super-quiet for
some reason. If I plug my headphones directly into the audio-out of
the FV2k, I hear nothing. If I connect the audio-out of the FV2k to
the line-in of my sound card, I can hear it, but even with all my
mixer settings set to full, it's too quiet to be useful.
To test, I tried the same card in a Windows box, and the audio can be
heard with just headphones connected to the audio-out jack of the
FV2k. With the audio-out fed into the line-in of the sound card, it
works perfectly.
Any idea what's gone wrong here? I didn't think the FlyVIDEO2000 even
had a hardware volume control. How can I be experiencing volume
difficulties?
Thanks,
Shaun
