I use mencoder.
ftp.mplayerhq.hu

With 0.9pre9 it works fine. Iheve problem with later versions.
If you test it plese write me about effects.
Beware, it compiles and works only with previous v4l2 API - kernel 2.4.19

I am not sure, but it was stiil older v4l2 - I suppose.
Mplayer compilation crshes just on libavcodec with 2.4.20.
Duplicated entries for time.h.
First in sources.
Second in videodev2.h.
If I try to comment:
include <linux/time.h>
then all crashes on entries in /usr/include/linux/time.h - redefined structs.
I have got it even fo xawtv.
I think something is not standard in my glibc, but earlier I had compilatin errors only by my own faults. With testing gcc-3.2 I compiled even cinnelera (after many combinations with autoconf).
I tried it on my PLD and Mandrake 9.0 - the same result.
Enough.
