I have a SECAM philips tuner on my card. (options tuner type=3 debug=0)
If you have a recent card (with a MT2032 Microtune tuner), you need bttv-0.7.100.
Else identify your exact card (http://home.t-online.de/home/gunther.mayer/bttv/bttv-gallery.html),
load bttv with 'bttv_gpio=1' option, send dmesg and the tuner model info.
