I figured out my problem with insmod, and I have gotten the bttv-0.9.2
module to load. (Just needed to do a modprobe instead of insmod, and
create the module for sound support)

Now I am having a problem getting the output to be sane. I'm currently
getting scrambled output (as can be seen here:
http://chaos.doesntexist.com/~cam/test.jpeg .. Output from streamer -o
test.jpeg, or the live cam
http://chaos.doesntexist.com/~cam/notice.shtml) It is pulling video from
the cam, movement in front of the cam is shown in the scrambled image. I
am using a generic bt848 capture card with no tuner (although the
autodetect says that it has one), and I am capturing from the Composite1
channel.

Any ideas on what could make it scramble like that?

Thanks!
