I'm not familiar with the tuners, so I can't really say how they are
connected.  The advice should still be applicable, however, I have no idea
if the tuner is generating a composite or s-video output.

When XawTV is running if you right click within the picture (or press 'O')
you will get an options dialog.  One of the options is the input line
selection.  This is what I mean by the "XawTV line".
