USB cameras have their own drivers, and they are usually V4L1. There is
no such thing as a generic USB driver for any USB camera.

If you want to buy a USB camera, Philips or OV511 would be probably the
safest choice, because too many of other cameras were
reverse-engineered, and nobody really knows how they work (and what to
do when they don't work...)
