1) Our autodetect on tda988x/mt2032 needs more work.
   You fixed this temporary, fine.

2) For sound try:
   insmod tda9887 miro_id=1   # 2,3...6

   Which value(s) work?
   Probably the right value is stored in the eeprom,
   so send "bttv-0.7.98/tools/eeprom", "bttv-0.7.98/tools/detect"
   and which EPCOS chip is on your card?
