I'm able to run saa7134-0.1.10 with bttv-0.8.44,

incompatible with saa7134-0.1.10 - I get
a segfault if I try to run bttv with saa's
video-buf, and a "cannot grab device" if
I try to run saa with bttv's video-buf.

Bug? Merge in next version of saa7134?

Hmm, looks like it is time to put out 0.1.11 then ...

Just copying the bttv version into the saa7134 tree and recompiling
should work I think.

Well, it doesn't bomb like before, but the capture on the saa card
just runs extremely slow and doesn't grab frames.

It is just some internals which have changed, the
incompatibility probably comes from different struct sizes. The
interface between video-buf.c and the drivers is the same.

Failing that pick the latest stuff from http://bytesex.org/snapshot/.

Grabbed those, but there I get the old errors again:

[root@gorgon btaudio-0.7]# ffmpeg /dev/video1 test.mpg
libavcodec: CPU flags: mmx mmxext 3dnow
Unable for find a suitable output format for '/dev/video1'

This is using the 2.4.20-pre2 patch on the kernel 2.4.20-pre4,
so I didn't install the v4l2-20020813 if that's critical.
