If you are looking for a frame grabbing board, please check http://www.sensoray.com/html/frame_grabbers.htm. Model 311 (for PC104+ users) and 611 (for PCI users) are bt878 based. Both could be running Linux and the drivers (video4linux-bttv) are available. Let me know if you need further information.

If it is software you are looking for:
try the webcam program  from the xawtv - package: see http://bytesex.org/xawtv/.
It works in combination with the bttv driver.

frame grabber for my robot running linux. I serched the net and only found
some expensive ones.
