Fly Video 2000 (mono) recording problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'm using Flyvideo 2000 (the mono version) and I can see and hear video ok
(well, there is a problem with sound when I load the v4l XFree driver to get
full screen video with this card, but I can live with it)..

The problem comes when I want to record video with programs like ffmpeg - I
can record video perfectly, but no audio.

According to the btaudio read me file in the linux kernel, I need to insmod
btaudio, so I tried:

insmod btaudio analog=1

Now - I tried to record with /dev/dsp2 and /dev/dsp3 - that doesn't impress
any recording program I tried.

Here's my lines in /etc/modules.conf:

alias char-major-81 bttv
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
options bttv card=65 radio=0 tuner=5 pll=1
options tuner debug=0

Anything that I'm doing wrong? (I checked premissions, everything ok, bt878
mixer appears in KDE's kmix)

Thanks,
Hetz
