Hello!

Using bttv 0.8.31 there is no sound in fbtv, xawtv and tvtime (yes it
works and is great :-) until gnomeradio or zapping (which aborts with:
** WARNING **: Cannot set new capture format: [tveng2.c] p_tveng2_qbuf
(line 1317)
VIDIOC_QBUF failed: Bad address
tveng2.c (1364): tveng2_start_capturing: assertion (p_info->num_buffers
== 0) failed) runs before. Then everythings works as expected.

Do you have a tv-card with a msp34xx?
This behaviour was introduced in a change in the msp3400 driver (around 0.7.81 or so), now the msp3400 uses the scart input if the input is not explicitly set. And it seems if you use bttv 0.8.31 (doesn't matter here if v4l2=0 or v4l2=1 is used) xawtv doesn't eplicitly set the audio input of the msp34xx. You can force it to do so if you change from input "tuner" to "composite1" and back. At least that's what I do...
