Re: W99200-based MPEG-1 capture card

Our objectives are the same. I too am interested in a multi-channel encoder,
but need other features such as the ability to insert text strings into the
captured frames before compression. Also, I am in crunch mode to deliver a
solution soon, so embarking on a new driver effort might not be feasable
right now. However, the PROVIDEO board seems to be architecturally identical
to the Linux Media Labs LM1013

Have you tried their driver?

Joe

How much did the Provideo board costs - the LML is $420.
