Matrix Vision MV-Delta / can't get nothing but grayscale output

Hi everybody,
	I got this nice piece of equipment (Matrix Vision MV-Delta) for testing.
It's a Bt878 with four multiplexed inputs. The bttv driver knows it (when I
give
card type) and when I start xawtv, all four inputs are there. All lights are
green?
Not quite. I can only grab grayscale images. Some kind of misinterpretation
of
capabilities? What can I do?

One more question: If I have multiple cards, how do they get numbered? I
have
observed that /dev/video0 is the card that is in the slot fartest away from
the processor, /dev/video1 next and so on. Is this always the case?
