I want to get there... using btaudio that is, but I have had too much
a/v sync problems with it in the past. I want to stablize my platform
before adding something else into the mix.

But btaudio is moot. The problem I am having is not a mixer problem.
The volume that I have to turn up is not in my mixer, it's the volume
in the xawtv app when I start it with "-noxv" (so that it uses the
v4l2 interace rather than Xvideo -- the v4l2 interface has a volume
control that seems to be separate of the volume control in the mixer)
and open the 'o'ptions menu.

Anyone know how to adjust that volume outside of starting xawtv?
