I'm using a combination of things from aumix, xawtv & ffmpeg:

aumix -1R -170
aumix -q
v4lctl -v 2 setstation Air
v4lctl -v 2 setchannel 29
v4lctl -v 2 volume 10
ffmpeg -ad /dev/dsp1 test.mpeg
