xawtv is misbehaving — Video for Linux

Hello, all.

I have a Kensington camera which uses the se401 module. xawtv is notworking with it. I know it is working correctly, because it works withanother video viewer, called gqcam. Ok, this is what happens: when Istart up xawtv, I get a bizarre messed up picture that looks like threestretched pictures side by side, only the colour is all wrong and thereare horizontal yellowish lines through it. When I resize the window, Iget a normal image, but the motion stops. Also, xawtv respondsintolerably slowly. I believe my machine is fast enough, as I used tohave an older one runnig xawtv with a bttv card and the very same videocard and that worked fine. (I am running this on slackware 8.0, withLinux 2.4.14, se401 module, xawtv is the newest version, I can't recallthe number) Any help would be appreciated.
