Some time ago, we were discussing this concerning the ECS K7VZA board
with frame grabbers:

I did try Michael's promising suggestion and played with PCI latency
settings, but unfortunately this didn't change anything.

Now, this week there was a new BIOS release from ECS
(http://www.ecs.com.tw/download/download.htm).

This new BIOS has solved the problems with stripes on captured images
for me. I'm back to the original state of my board where grabbing
runs smoothly, even for the first few frames. The BIOS also boosted
UDMA 100 speed by a factor of two, so if you're running an older
version from between May and September, I'd definitely try upgrading.

Regards,
Wolfram.
