[Help] about VIC (can't dispay the received video)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Dear members

I'm trying to install vic on my two desktops.
One desktop(sender) has BT878A TV card and the other machine(receiver) doesn't capture board.

The O/S is RedHat 6.2(kernel 2.2.16).
I got the vic (version: 2.8ucl-1.1.3) source and binary from UCL (www-mice.cs.ucl.ac.uk).
I also installed and executed vic software on two desktops(sender and receiver) without anyproblem.

When I execute vic on sender computer, the program is running successfully.
(command : vic 210.107.142.215/4004 -> 210.107.142.215 is receiver's address)

but the vic on receiver computer doesn't dispay any screen, a vic only dispay "waiting for video".
when I check the received packet from eth0 using tcpdump, the udp packet is received from sender.

Why the receiver can't display the received video data?
If you konw about any clue, please me konw.......

Thank you for your help.
