Was the recording smooth -- meaning no jerkyness? What kind of
processor were you using? What was your command line?

I have tried so many encoders and so many different combinations of
bitrate/codec/framerate/etc. and am yet to get a good smooth recording
like I have seen others get.

I want to see something -- anything -- make a good smooth recording on
my machine so that I can see that it's at least possible.
