I have been trying to compile the videodevX code under 2.4.7 kernel(RedHat 7.2) and get unresolved symbols errors when I try to install it. The symbol itself was the min macro. Upon close inspection, I noticed that the min function was encapsulated under LINUX_VERSION_CODE == 0x020409 The kernel version as reported by the RH7.2 is 0x020407. I notice a lot of #ifdef LINUX_VERSION in the code. I worked around the min function by including it.
