I have this very card. I'm using the following in my /etc/modules.conf and it 
works great, MSP3400 and all:

options bttv card=52 pll=1 radio=1	# Pinnacle PCTV Studio Pro
options tuner type=21		# Temic NTSC (4039 FR5)
