This patch should work on both PAL and NTSC (incl. mute).
I already tested PAL OK.

NTSC testers wanted.

Note: Some bttv applications don't set the "norm" via VIDIOCSCHAN,
these get the default (i.e. PAL)! Xawtv works fine, of course.
