Hi, I've joined the list to get my 3Dfx VoodooTV FM (Euro) card working correctly. Eventual aim is to start work on recording programs with subtitles. Here is a summary of what I have found and tried so far. * can successfully install the modules of bttv and tuner which auto-detects the card correctly. * Composite1-3 screens are all blue * Cannot tune in any channels in europe-west (UK), the screen is noisy but does change when changing frequencies. Also only the top third of screen tends to be noisy the rest is occasionally updated. * Picture cannot be tuned in both xamtv and fbtv. Scantv also doesn't detect any stations > > pll config wrong? > Gerd ! With "pll=28" the picture is perfect ! * From a previous post setting pll=28 does not affect the picture. * When the starting xawtv or fbtv (PAL, Television, europe-west) I typically get the following in syslog. bttv0: PLL: 28636363 => 35468950 ... ok This line is what happens regardless of whether the pll=28 is specified or not.
