Hello.

I need to capture video from MasterVideo( BT878 ) 8 input card ( w/multiplexer
). I need just to grab frames to memory and save some of them in BMP
format( grayscale, size about 320x240) on hdd.

What should I use, v4l or v4l2 ?

Kernel version: 2.2.19, bttv with multiplexer fixes.
