I've been using the Philips USB web cam (680K), though reportedly the
7xx range have a better image quality.  See
http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/ for some sample pictures and
information.  I know this camera works with openh323/ohphone as I've
been using it for openh323 work myself.

The pwc driver's included in recent 2.4 series kernels, though a
binary compression module isn't (yet).
