Hello all, I am admittedly new to video capture on the Linux platform, and I am not even 100% sure that this is the correct forum for my question, but here goes. I am experiencing some problems while capturing video from multiple inputs on the same device (same format). I am running a brooktree chipset (848) based card with 4 inputs. driver version bttv-0.7.72 on kernel 2.4.7. When I capture from a single input, everything is fine. When I am capturing from 4 inputs, I am experiencing a slight but noticible jumpiness in the video. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? Is it some sort of sync problem?
