[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm running xawtv-3.34-1 on the 2.4.2-2 kernel. For multimedial I use a TV
Wonder VE. It used to work with my old nvidia card, but when I upgraded to
the Voodoo 3000 graphics card, xawtv broke. Now I only get a black screen
Here is my modules.conf :
alias char-major-81 bttv
pre-install bttv /sbin/modprobe -k msp3400;/sbin/modprobe -k tuner
post-remove bttv /sbin/modprobe -r msp3400;/sbin/modprobe -r tuner
options bttv card=1 autoload=0 radio=0
post-install bttv /sbin/insmod tuner type=17

when I run xawtv I get this output:
dylan:/19:10:38~$ xawtv -v
This is xawtv-3.34, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.2-2)

Xv: no usable image format found (port 47)
wmhooks: gnome

and the kernel logs this:
kernel: tuner: TV freq out of range

here is a cut from my ~/.xawtv

jpeg-quality = 75
mjpeg-quality = 75

Any help would be appreciated, because I can't find any useful info on this
issue. Thanks.
