Will I need a sound-card too?

I'm writing an application where I want to be able to :

   1) Select a TV channel to receive
   2) Collect the digitized audio from this broadcast

Will the video4linux driver(s) give me this ability?
Will I be forced to use a seperate sound card to get
the digitized (stereo) audio channel?

The cost of the TV-Tuner card is not an issue,
but my TV-Audio capture system must be able to
fit into a SINGLE standard PCI slot.

Yes.. all I want is the AUDIO from a TV signal.
I do not need any video at this time.
