Re: ffserver - New branch project? Coosing Name

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Well my first thought was vstream
but it seems taken more than once (ok not at sourcforge or freashmeat (but on the web in general)

so maybe V4Lstream
even though it could quite asyly be more all encompassing at least parts of the program
But that may be the best name to get it into distributions ...

but I also like

avencost (audio video encoding & Streaming)
averist (audio video encoded realtime internet streaming)
avex (audio video exchange)
avist (audio video Streaming)
corevista (coder & realtime video Stream Application)
covist (compression video streaming)
cvis (compression video streaming)
enavist(encoded audio video Streaming)
evis (easy video Streaming)
elvis (easy live video Streaming)
river (realtime internet video exchanger)
viflux
vios (visual input output streaming system)
vistaf (video streaming application framework)

more ?

Hey I am just happy I don't have to choose (alone =)

cheers

Tobias
