Hi:
I have modified the V4L2's 'videodevx' package to add better support
to V4L1 application working with V4L2 driver. My patch includs set norm
(video standard) support via the VIDIOCSCHAN call (V4L1 has only this
cmd to set the video norm), and bttv's private 'BTTV_FIELDNR' cmd. With
these two patchs, the fast and simple NuppleVideo package works very
good with the V4L2's sample driver. Not that I spare a TV capture card,
but with the V4L2 sample driver, I can work with my project with my
notebook everywhere. Not bad.

I'm not sure if I should post my patch. Would the V4L2 maintainer
tell me?
