DC30plus and unified-zoran: first results

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I got last week a DC30 and examined this weekend the card. I updated
README.Unified with the basic data of the dc30plus on CVS
SourceForge/MJPeg square.
At least the main difference is the zoran triple chipset ZR
36067(or57)-36050-36016 plus an analog switchmatrix at the output with a
TEA6415. The vfe/vbe is implemented with a vpx3220 and an adv7176 on the
board I use.

The vpx module is now under construction - with it I should get overlay
working quite soon (this should be the easier task...)

Averyone with a similar card (especially Miro/Pinnacle DC30, DC20 and
DC10) which currently doesn't work with the zoran driver due to the
50/16 jpeg chips could help me a lot by sending me their chipset part
names beside the zoran chips for checking (the "big" ic's - often from
vendors like Analog Devices AD..., Micronas/ITT VPX..., Zoran ZR...,
Philips SAA..., Siemens SDA..., Brooktree BT...).
Maybe the differences are that small that they can be supported with the
patch I am developing, too (at least I can add special debugging code
for testing and helping me to get more info about them).

Please send any feedback directly to scherr@xxxxxxxxxxx and please give
me some time for the reply as I am away from my mail the next two weeks.

Bye and many thanks in advance,

Wolfgang
