That's for the tip... That actually improves it a little. Instead of 3
images, I'm down to one and a half :-) Unfortunately I still seem to have
very thin vertical lines throughout the image. Interestingly though (and
I forgot to mention this before), the full image from the camera is
present even though the bottom 1/3 of the image in GIMP is completely
black. That I would mind too much since I could just crop it.
