[V4L] sound problems (and more)

So, xawtv doesn't seem to think I have stereo capability... which I
would assume is "normal" although I'm sure I do, if it wasn't for the
fact that when I try to use streamer to grab an avi, and I do "-am" it
grabs stuff, but doesn't respond to ctrl-c. The only way I've seen to
stop it is ctrl-z then kill. Not surprisingly the resulting file is
garbage.

Also, fbtv assumes I am using PAL, which is not the case. How do I tell
it I'm using NTSC? Its not in the man page.

Thanks.
