Video with my STB tvpci board works beautifully with the standard
Xfree86 supplied with Debian 2.2 and running Kernel 2.2.17.
Video is smooth with no dropouts.

Be aware it looks like there are 3 different STB cards with slightly
different chipsets.

If you are having trouble, make sure your Xfree86 setup is not hosed.
I am running 1024x768, and I believe 24bpp. Maybe your video card is
the culprit. Mine is nothing fancy, just a non-accel #9 card with s3
chipset and 2mb memory.

Video actually looks better here than when the card was in a win9x
machine with a fancy 3d accelerated video card!

Good Luck
